When an agency requests that you provide a quote, you will receive an email inviting you to do so:
If you are using the contractor mobile/tablet app, you will receive an instant notification to your phone/device.
Please make sure to check all of the information provided on this email, including the quote request details, ideal completion date and the deadline for providing your quote(s).
From here, you can just click on Enter your quotation; this will take you straight through to your Fixflo account with no password required. You are able to click on the Detail tab of the issue to view all of the details, including any photographs or videos that have been provided by the reporting occupier.
You may wish to use the 'Comments' tab to ask the reporting occupier any further questions, or book a quote appointment via the workflow available.
To actually submit your quote, you will need to provide the following information:
- Lead time required - how much notice do you need?
- Estimated duration - how long do you think the job will take?
- Your job/quote costs (please try to fill in at least one line)
- Any quote documents you may wish to upload (optional)
The system will automatically apply VAT to your quote, according to your locale (GB, IRE etc). If this is incorrect or you are not VAT registered, please amend the default VAT on your profile using our guide here. Once you are happy, tick the box to agree to the T&Cs and hit Save and submit quote:
If your quote is approved, you will receive an email notification saying so, encouraging you to set a time and date for when the works will be completed:
Attached to the email will also be your job sheet, which gives all information provided.
