It's never been easier to add an additional appointment or follow up appointment on Fixflo for a contractor.

After being awarded a job and once the original appointment has been made through Fixflo, a follow-up appointment can be made. 

To add the follow-up appointment all you will need to do is either click on the 'Manage appointment' button or click on the 'Appointments' tab on when on an issue.  



Once on the appointment tab, you will see the appointment(s) that you have already made as well as an add appointment button. You will need to click the 'Add appointment' button to begin adding the follow-up appointment.


After the Add appointment button has been clicked you will need to set the appointment date, the time and whether or not the appointment has been agreed with the occupier. 



If the occupier has already agreed to the follow-up appointment you will need to click 'Yes' and save the appointment date. Once this is done the appointment will be in the appointment section of the issue. If you wish to cancel the appointment you can click on the cancel button to the right of the screen beside the appointment. 



If the occupier has requested to be present during the works from the beginning of the issue, the appointment will need to be agreed with the occupier. This will be done through email. You will need to follow the same steps as the ones taken above except they will need to click 'No' when it comes to the 'Appointment agreed with occupier' section. After this is done a pop-up will appear displaying the following message:



When this is done the occupier will get an email notification to let them know you are waiting for their acceptance of a proposed date for the issue to be resolved. 



The occupier then has the ability to either accept the proposal or reject it and set a proposed time that is more suitable to them. Once they have commented on the date they have confirmed you will receive an email.


After this is done. You will just need to follow the steps above and add the new appointment date and select that the appointment was agreed with the occupier.


How to add an additional appointment on the Contractor App


Just like adding an appointment via the web you also have the ability to add a follow-up appointment via the Fixflo Contractor App. There will be slight differences on the app though. The first difference is that you will be asked to reschedule the appointment.


After clicking on this you will need to confirm that you want to reschedule the appointment. To progress, you'll need to click 'Yes'.


After this is done you will get the option to set an appointment date again. 


Once this has been done you are finally able to set the appointment date like you would on the web version. All you have to do is input the appointment date and whether it has been agreed with the occupier or not.
