When you are awarded a job, you will receive an email alert - and/or app notification - letting you know that a job has been assigned to you. The email will look similar to the below:
It will outline the basic details about the job, and will have the PDF job sheet attached as well. Once you've looked over it, you can click on Enter job start date to proceed; this will take you through to your Fixflo system. From here, you can input a time and date for when you will complete the job:
Simply enter a proposed date and time, and mark whether or not the appointment has been agreed with the occupier or not. The details for the reporting occupier can be found on the 'Detail' tab of the issue, if applicable:
Please note: If the occupier has requested to be present while works are carried out, you will see this in two places as below:
Once you select to save the appointment, a pop-up may appear if you note that the appointment has not been agreed in advance:
Once you have submitted a time and date, there are two possible outcomes that may occur. Firstly, the reporting occupier may have requested to be present when works are carried out. In which case, they need to approve the time and date you suggested; they get emailed this proposal automatically.
You will receive an email to let you know if the time you suggested is approved by the occupier. Should you ever need to speak to them in more detail, you can always call or send a comment to them:
If the occupier has not requested to be present when works are carried out, they will be sent an automated email from the system letting them know when you're due to visit. They can always send a comment to you on the 'Comments' tab if required.
